TDM (Files Download Manager) is an Android application that manages file downloads: it accelerates transfers with multiple connections, resumes interrupted files, and keeps everything you have downloaded in one sorted, searchable list. This site is operated by DevMax Inc., which develops and publishes the app.
Who publishes TDM, and how the app is funded
DevMax Inc. develops, publishes and operates TDM: Files Download Manager, and operates this website. It is an independent Android developer based in Egypt. The publisher's identity and contact details are shown under "About the developer" on the Google Play listing, where Google has verified them.
TDM is free and paid for by advertising. There is no subscription, no paid tier and no in-app purchase — the Google Play listing shows "Contains ads" and nothing else. It is stated up front so that nobody installs the app expecting an ad-free experience that was never offered.
The app is distributed through Google Play only. No APK is hosted here or anywhere else, and any file offered elsewhere under the TDM name did not come from DevMax Inc. Where this site quotes a figure from Google Play, it links to the listing so the figure can be checked at source.

Why the app exists
Android's built-in download handling is fine for a small PDF and frustrating for anything else. A dropped connection at 90% means starting over. Everything lands in one flat folder. There is no way to say "not on mobile data" or "not more than two at a time".
TDM fixes those specific annoyances without a login screen, a subscription or a permission list longer than the feature list. Over a million installs and a 4.4 rating on Google Play suggest those annoyances are widely shared.
What TDM is not
This is stated explicitly because the download-manager category attracts the wrong assumptions:
- TDM does not remove, weaken or bypass digital rights management (DRM).
- TDM is not a tool for extracting video or audio from streaming platforms.
- TDM is not a VPN, a proxy, or a way of accessing content restricted in your country.
- TDM does not host, index, search for, or supply any files itself. It transfers links you give it.

When you report a bug, include your device model, Android version and app version. Without those three a problem usually cannot be reproduced.
