Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website. The TDM app has a separate privacy policy of its own, because it processes different things in a different place — on your device rather than on a web server. Section 8 links to it.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed through this website is:

The Publisher develops and publishes TDM: Files Download Manager. Its full postal address and verified contact details are shown under "About the developer" on the Google Play listing, and are available on request at the address above. This policy covers the website; the app is covered by its own policy.

2. What this website collects

This is a brochure site. There is no account, no login and no order form.

Automatically, on every visit

The hosting provider records standard server log data needed to deliver the site securely: IP address, date and time, the page requested, HTTP status, referrer and browser user agent. This is ordinary web-server logging, used only for delivery, security and abuse prevention.

Only if you consent

Analytics and advertising measurement, described in sections 3 and 4. These are off until you press "Accept all" in the cookie banner.

If you send an email

Your email address, your message and anything you choose to put in it (for a bug report, typically a device model and Android version). It is used to answer you and for nothing else.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

No cookies are set at all until you make a choice in the banner.

You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link, which is also in the footer of every page. Clearing your browser storage resets the choice.

4. Advertising and measurement

TDM is advertised, including through Google Ads, and measuring which ad clicks led to an install is how those campaigns are directed. If you reached this site from an ad and you have consented, Google's tags may set cookies or read identifiers for that purpose. What comes back is aggregated campaign reporting, not individual identities.

If you continue to Google Play and install the app, a campaign identifier may be passed to the Play Store in the install referrer so that the install can be attributed to this site. It contains campaign labels only — no information about you.

This site implements Google Consent Mode v2. Before you consent, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are all set to denied, and no Google tag is loaded.

Personal data is not sold and is not shared with data brokers. If you click through to Google Play, Google's own privacy policy applies from that point.

5. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the Publisher relies on:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics and advertising cookies.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for server logs, site security and abuse prevention, and for answering an enquiry you sent.

You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that already happened.

6. Who data is shared with

• The hosting provider — stores and serves the site, processes server logs.
• Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — analytics and ad measurement, only after consent.
• The email provider — if you send a message.

Some of these providers operate outside the EEA and the UK. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

7. How long it is kept

• Server logs: up to 30 days, unless retained longer for a specific security investigation.
• Analytics data: as configured in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
• Support email: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
• Your cookie choice: stored in your browser until you clear it.

8. The TDM app — covered by its own policy

This policy is about the website. The app is published by the same company but has a policy of its own: devmax.app/tdm-privacy-policy.html. Alongside it, the Data safety section of the Google Play listing gives the same information in Google's own wording. Please read both before installing.

Two things are worth knowing before you install:

• Downloaded files stay on the device. TDM has no cloud storage, no account and no upload path. The files you download and the addresses you download them from never leave the device.
• The app is ad-supported. The advertising SDK it uses processes technical and advertising identifiers in order to serve ads.

As Google Play describes it today, the app collects and may share device or other identifiers, and data is encrypted in transit. Play also records that the app does not offer a route to request deletion of that data — the app has no account system, so there is no record tied to you that could be deleted. Questions about any of this go to tdm@devmax.app.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you may also have rights to know, delete and opt out of "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA; no personal information is sold.

To exercise any of these, email tdm@devmax.app. Requests are answered within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are unhappy with the response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and personal data is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, write to the address above and it will be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be announced on this page before they take effect.
